Ysgol Maesgwyn School is committed to making this website accessible, in line with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.
What we have done
- The site is designed to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA.
- You can use it with a keyboard alone, and focus is always clearly visible.
- Text has strong colour contrast and can be enlarged to 200% without breaking.
- Animations are switched off if your device asks for reduced motion.
- Documents open in the same viewer, with a download option, wherever they appear.
Known issues
Some older documents were created as Word files or scanned PDFs and may not work well with screen readers. We are replacing them with accessible versions as each one is reviewed. If you need a document in another format, contact the office and we will help.
